Citation – Tennis, J. (2006). Social tagging and the next steps for indexing. Paper presented at the 17th SIG/CR Classification Research Workshop.

摘要 – 此研究以架構分析(framework analysis)比較社會性標註(social tagging)與主題編目(subject cataloguing)的兩種資訊組織架構的不同，並由此探討索引編製的未來發展。此比較工作主要根據三個研究：

  1. Ron Day 對福特主義的批評 (2001)
  2. Tennis 對文件詮釋程序的研究 (2005)
  3. Jacob 的詞彙結構研究 (2000)

結論中，Tennis 根據 Day(2001)區分福特主義與後福特主義的研究觀點，認為主題編目的生產方式是較為落後的一種，而社會性標記較為符合當代技術環境。
