McGallen & Bolden 從1990年開始頒發網頁設計獎，今年開始也開始頒發網站使用性獎項。這個獎項從五個方面評估使用性：
* 簡明 (Simplicity) – 任何人都能夠瀏覽網站
* 內容 (Content) – 內容豐富，並非只是連結
* 調和 (Coordinated) – 搭配良好的色彩
* 標準 (Standards) – 遵照標準
* 可讀 (Readable) – 網頁原始碼容易讓人閱讀
* 簡化 (Reductionist) – 沒有不需要、flash式的多媒體
